11th Implementation Support Mission, Davao and Southern Mindanao, April 13 to 17, 2015
The MTF held its 11th and last Implementation Support Mission (ISM) in Davao and Southern Mindanao. The five-day event was jointly conducted by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA), Community and Family Services International (CFSI), the Mindanao Land Foundation (MinLand), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the European Union (EU), and the World Bank.
Two teams were divided to inspect nine barangays which benefited from the facility’s tangible components: CDD/CDR, Programme for Local Economic Development through Enhanced Governance and Grassroots Empowerment (PLEDGE), and the Sajahatra Bangsamoro Program. The objectives were to (a) assess the technical soundness of MTF-funded infrastructure such as water systems, solar dryers, warehouses, trading centers, and tire paths; (b) measure the effectiveness and sustainability of income-generating and livelihood subprojects from post-harvest facilities to community enterprise initiatives; and (c) assess the quality of community organizing and social preparation by the BDA.
