14th Implementation Support Mission, North Cotabato, Sarangani, Davao Oriental, Zamboanga del Sur, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Tawi-Tawi, November 21 to 25, 2016
The Mindanao Trust Fund (MTF) monitored program progress in 13 beneficiary sites across seven provinces during the 14th Implementation Support Mission (ISM) from November 21 to 25, 2016.
MTF representatives, including donor members from the European Union, Australia and the World Bank, as well as implementing partners from the Bangsamoro Development Agency, Community and Family Services International and MinLand, visited Camps, Bangsamoro Solidarity, Bangsamoro ADVANCE and PLEDGE communities to discuss with beneficiaries, barangay local government officials and community organizers project implementation and financial management practices.
To date, the MTF's four programs have provided livelihood and infrastructure support to 112 conflict-affected communities, which have helped over 210,000 Muslims, Christians and Indigenous People have (a) improved livelihood and access to basic services, (b) better capacities to manage projects and (c) stronger social unity.
