Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP)
The Bangsamoro Development Plan is reportedly the first socioeconomic roadmap written by a revolutionary group. Under the directive of the MILF Central Committee Chairman Al-Haj Murad Ebrahim, the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) led the formulation of the 200-page document, which recommends comprehensive strategies in the areas of economy and livelihood; infrastructure; social service; environment and natural resources; culture and identity; and governance for the recovery and rehabilitation of the Bangsamoro.
The MTF provided funding and technical support to the BDA as it worked to ensure that the Plan truly represented the fundamental needs and aspirations of every Muslim, Christian, and IP resident in the proposed Bangsamoro core territories.
