In February 2017, about 60 MTF-RDP partners and beneficiaries were interviewed to document their take on the Bangsamoro peace process and the 11-year impact of the MTF-RDP on the lives of people living in conflict-affected communities. The following are some of their stories.

The Mindanao Trust Fund-Reconstruction and Development Program (MTF-RDP) celebrated 11 years of partnership for peace and development in Mindanao last April 18, 2017 in Davao City. The event was a culmination of community-driven programs that supported the Bangsamoro peace process.
Camp Bad'r Turnover Ceremony, March 22, 2017, Barangay Kinebeka, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao
Mindanao Trust Fund (MTF) representatives formally handed over three sets of solar dryers and warehouses and three rice mills along with 10 tap stands to 5,415 beneficiaries in three villages in Camp Bad’r last March 22, 2017. Other than the PhP 9.6 million infrastructure support, about 267 beneficiaries who are mostly widows and Indigenous People were provided cattle, dressmaking training and equipment, as well as informal education to help boost income and better the chances for gainful employment. The livelihood support provided in Camp Bad’r is estimated at PhP 4.7 million.

Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and MTF representatives formally turned over a rice mill, solar dryer and warehouse to 1,704 Bangsamoro ADVANCE beneficiaries in Barangay Cabpangi, Pigcawayan, Cotabato on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Mr. Louis Dey, Acting Head of Development Cooperation Section in the Philippines and Mr. Koen Duchateau, Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development in the European Commission in Brussels led the MTF delegation. The European Union is one of the facility's seven international donors.

In support of the Annex on Normalization in the 2014 Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro, the Camps program celebrated the graduation of 70 Alternative Learning System (ALS) students and the turnover of 120 heads of cattle and ten water tap stands for 1,020 beneficiaries of Barangay Tugaig, Barira, Maguindanao in Camp Abubakar on January 17, 2017.

PLEDGE Trade Fair, Davao City, October 17 and 18, 2016
PLEDGE beneficiaries showcased 35 products to business groups, local customers and media in their first trade fair last October 17 to 18, 2016 in SM Ecoland, Davao City.
The event was the culmination of a three-year enterprise program funded by the Mindanao Trust Fund (MTF).
With the PhP 111 million (USD 2.4 million) budget, PLEDGE capacitated about 1,178 Muslims, Christians and Indigenous People in 11 conflict-affected areas across Mindanao to form business groups, produce high value products and market them to public and private businesses.
